RESEARCH CLIENTS' TESTIMONIALS
Elizabeth Gomoll is a wonder. I came to her with the barest of clues, and out of these she was able to construct an entire world. Her results were, to put it mildly, astonishing. She dives deep and wide, and her reporting is extremely thorough, with sources cited throughout. Her genuine interest in my project—as well as the pleasure she takes in her work—was also apparent from the very beginning. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
-Julie Otsuka, author of The Swimmers and When the Emperor was Divine
My husband contacted Elizabeth Gomoll for family information and she did such an incredible job that I sought out her services. She found articles on a trip my father took during the depression, a great-uncle that I had only heard about who had been married 67 years, and my grandfather's obit which actually contained a great deal of his medical history. She also nailed down the town our family came from in Germany, which no one had been able to find, and she solved a family rumor. Her reports are extremely detailed. If you need someone to help track down what you have been wondering about for years, this amazingly accomplished woman is definitely for you.

For decades I wanted to research my ancestry but never found the time. My friends recommended Elizabeth Gomoll of Red Bird Genealogy. With her help I now have a family tree dating back to colonial times and know more about my heritage than I could have imagined. She became personally vested in my family and worked closely with me to deliver exactly what I wanted. If you are contemplating ancestral research, I highly recommend Liz.

During nearly eight years of research on this book, I was beyond fortunate to have some invaluable, expert assistance. Elizabeth Gomoll, the GOAT of genealogists, went far beyond assembling family trees, excavating way into the social, cultural, and historical roots of dozens of individuals. Her enthusiasm for this project nourished my own.
- Samuel G. Freedman, author of Into the Bright Sunshine, Young Hubert Humphrey and the Fight for Civil Rights
My father, born in 1905, was a stepchild who never knew the name of his biological father. I am now 80 years old, but recently decided to make another attempt to trace my paternal genetic background. Eight days after my initial inquiry to Elizabeth Gomoll she provided a detailed report that included a likely candidate, who was subsequently confirmed to be the one. She was able to accomplish this with a skillful combination of DNA and document research, and under our agreed upon initial budget. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable, efficient, thorough and a real pleasure to work with. To say that she far exceeded my expectations would be an understatement.

I have always known I was adopted but knew nothing about my birth family. Even though a DNA match showed I have a half-sister, I was completely unsuccessful in contacting her. I met Liz a few years back through our mutual work in public radio, and I was impressed. She struck me as lovely, intelligent, meticulous, hardworking, and very gracious. Fast forward... When I recently mentioned I might need some help locating my “bio” sister I really got a taste for what Elizabeth Gomoll can do. In one day, she analyzed the information I provided and sent what I needed to locate my sister. It’s not surprising so many use her excellent services, and personally, I am deeply grateful.

I consider myself an accomplished and published genealogist, but since I currently reside in Dubai, I am not able to access all the records I would like. A year ago, I discovered, via the Internet, some long-lost branches of my family tree that I have been searching for decades. Through Liz's capable and expert assistance, I was able to fill in the missing links on many of those branches. Liz is very knowledgeable of what records exist and where to go to find answers. Liz steadfastly stuck to my plan and accomplished results that were greater than my expectations within the agreed upon budget. Her research was often accompanied by suggestions on "next-steps" which ultimately also proved fruitful. Her research solved many dead-ends, but opened up other new adventures. I have found Liz to be most professional, thorough, and a real pleasure to work with. She comes with my highest recommendations.

I could not be more satisfied with the genealogical research you did for my book. In fact, calling your work genealogical doesn't begin to describe the depth of historical detail that you were able to provide. Not only did you find dozens of essential documents for me, but you were able to analyze them yourself to help put together the story-line of each family or person. Your efforts go so far beyond anything I could have expected, anticipated, or even dared to ask for. I would not hesitate to recommend you to any other author.

We were planning a trip to Sweden and wanted to know more about the place my great-grandfather once lived. With the limited information we provided, Liz was able to verify my great-grandfather was married in the church that still stands in that village and his son, my grandfather, was baptized there as well. Liz also found where my great-great-grandfather was baptized in the 1700s in another village - plus the names of his parents. She verified all the dates and gave us copies of the digitized church records. Liz also provided contact information for historic sites we planned to visit in Sweden. As we begin to explore our Swedish heritage in more detail, Red Bird Genealogy Services will be the first place we will contact for help.

LECTURE ATTENDEES' TESTIMONIALS
From a communication perspective, Liz's online lecture was very professional. Her office setting, background, camera (quality and angle), lighting, sound and dress were as good as it gets. Most would do well to imitate her... [She] provided a handout of detailed report and links of the presentation, yet her entire presentation was, as it should be, all images, some text, and the presentation was conversational and NOT reading from either the screen or the handout. The material was broad and general, yet insider info quality.... a terrific combination.
- Attendee, Irish Genealogical Society International webinar
Liz was great to listen to and very informative. Her slides and explanations on very technical topics were easy to follow.

Today, I watched your Legacy Family Tree Webinars presentation on "Unlocking Notation Codes on Alien Passenger Lists." It was excellent! This is the first and only time that I’ve reached out to a presenter after listening to a talk. The talk answered so many questions that I’ve had about the codes. You did a great job in organizing the material and carefully presenting the information. Thank you for your work. I really enjoyed it. I'm about to start [watching] it again!

Totally engrossing. I started out half listening to the webinar while watch Master Chef. Gordon Ramsey was quickly placed on the back burner.

Elizabeth made the topic very interesting and I didn't want [the webinar] to end. It was fascinating and so much information. She followed the handout which made it easy to follow along and add notes. I would rate this webinar at least a 10!
